Built inside a sixth form, not sold to one
P16 began in 2018 as an internal tool at Brampton Manor Academy in East London, written to get a large Year 12 intake through enrolment without paper forms and re-keying. It has run every admissions cycle there since.
In 2025 it was rebuilt as a platform any sixth form or college can use, and Educoda Ltd was formed to run it. Everything on this page exists because a sixth form needed it on a real results day.

Decisions use the student's own predicted grades, never a referee's. A rejection on predictions is never final: anyone whose results meet your entry requirements can enrol on results day, and nobody gets priority for holding an offer or attending a taster day. Each cohort has a checklist that flags anything the Code wouldn't allow, such as a missing PAN for external applicants.
You remain the admission authority, so your published arrangements still need to match. Providers that aren't bound by the Code, such as FE colleges, can switch the mode off.
